Last week, Daniel Smith Fine Artists’ Materials called me with thrilling news: My painting, View from the Bridge, was voted one of the 10 Annual Winners in the 11th Annual Daniel Smith Customer Art Contest, which garnered me a $250 gift certificate. My experience with Daniel Smith has helped me understand why people pursue quality paints, and in fact I have become something of a Daniel Smith paint junkie. (So that gift certificate is going to come in handy.)
